Is Augmented Reality (AR) safe?
Augmented reality is non evasive, no device is required to be worn as is the case with virtual reality (headset/goggles). It is recommended though that children and adults who are photosensitive or suffer from epilepsy, or motion sickness monitor and manage any signs or symptoms.
Why am I being charged for an adult ticket when I book a child ticket?
Our insurance and company policies dictate that all children must be supervised by an adult to ensure the safety of all children. Our booking software has this safety mechanism built in.
I have a child under 2, can they enter the centre?
Yes, children under 2 are admitted free of charge, we ask that you maintain supervision to ensure their safety and ensure they stay off the centre floor to protect them from potential harm.
I have a child over 12 who would like to visit the centre is this possible?
Yes, please note children over 12 will be charged at adult admission prices as the centre is not technically designed for children over the age of 12.
I have booked a birthday party; can I bring my own decorations and food?
Yes, in fact we encourage this as we know how expensive these events can be for our hard-working families. We call it BYOBP. Please consider safe food practices and potential allergies.
Can I extend past my initial booked one hour session?
Yes, pending availability you can purchase more time at the reception desk.
Can I hire the equipment for private events?
Coming soon, Adventuresand to you will allow for a full turnkey hire package of our interactive sandbox. We will notify everyone when this is on offer. Stay Tuned! We will even offer long term hire for business and schools.
Are staff trained in First Aid?
Yes, as a requirement of employment all staff have at least basic first aid training.
Do all staff hold working with children cards and police clearances?
Yes, all our staff are subjected to extremely high screening protocols prior to working in the centre to ensure the safety of all children.
Does Adventuresand have the necessary insurance coverages?
You bet. At Adventuresand, the safety and wellbeing of children is our top priority. To provide complete peace of mind for schools, parents, and carers, we maintain comprehensive insurance coverage.
In addition, all our programs are supported by a well-developed risk management framework and have been reviewed and endorsed by experienced educators to meet the highest safety and educational standards.
